Preparatory and Execution
October 2, 2006
I have been creating my own reality, “intending” that which I desire most in all parts of my life using some of the techniques taught by Mike Dooley in his amazing CD, Infinite Possibilities, the art of living your dreams (Infinite Possibilities is an 12 hour session of metaphysical truths that parallels theSecret.tv, StevePavlina.com and many others.) So far the results seem to have put me on a fast track to fulfilling my most intimate desires and heart felt desires. I can feel my life blooming into something I have imagined and It feels really good!
As I’ve been integrating “infinite possibilities” into my life, I have noticed that there are two parts to this process: A preparatory and the execution. When I lock and load the intention (focus/feel on the desired effect in the NOW for ten minutes everyday), within a matter of days of beginning (sometimes minutes) I get conformation that the intention is already being fulfilled. Here is an example from my life of that confirmation. In focusing on what I desire most in what I consider my “professional life” (work, employment, ect.), I intended four things: credibility, more freedom, more money and joy at my job. I imagined having those four things as a result of whatever “the universe” supplies. This initial intention is what I call the “preparatory command” followed by a receipt or acknowledgement from the universe (Steve Pavlina talks about the receipt in his podcast, “the true nature of reality.” http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/09/stevepavlinacom-podcast-016-the-true-nature-of-reality/.
I initiated this preparatory command on the 22nd of Sept. On the 25th, a co-worker approached me about writing a book on a new Department of Defense Information Assurance process that we have some knowledge on; this is something I hadn’t even considered, and it is a great idea.
My next action is to apply the command of execution by writing a few paragraphs or an outline for the book. Basically, the command of execution is taking action of faith in the direction of your dream.
Origins of the Preparatory and Execution commands:
In the military, I learned how to do marching drills. Marching is done to instill discipline and is really great for team building. The rhythm of a march gives a sense of oneness when it is done well. The drill commander gives the preparatory command to tell the marching troops what they about to do. Then he initiates the command by saying the command of execution. In step, and in perfect rhythm the troops perform the drill.
