8-Coil Shakti – Part 4: Nada on Hippocampus
January 12, 2008
10 Jan. 08 – 11-12am (20min then fell asleep)
Location of coils: Temporal Lobe
Duration: (?)
Signal type: Hippocampus signals 40Hz Alternating Modulated (fast alteration)
(volume increased to 86% output)
Overview:
Did feel anything. I think I’ll switch to the Amygdala signal.
Nothing at all to report.
20 minute sessions are not designed to elicit effects during sessions. Also, there is no “Hippocampus signals 40Hz Alternating Modulated (fast alteration)” signal. These are two different signals.
You might like to know that the ‘feelgood’ session is the most popular signal, and, given that you are blogging each and every session (making you prone to the ‘journalist’s confound’ – where thinking about what you’ll write gives you a distracting task during each session), you might like to try it. It emphasizes the frontal lobes, which are concerned with planning, expecting, and projecting into the future. Blogging every session makes it harder to just ‘be present’ while the sessions are running.
You should also submit the support form, and upgrade your software to the most recent version (very recent – send a private email). The form will help Shakti tech support to tailor suggestions to your neural history.
You have this blog filed under ‘god helmet’, a misleading name. I would ask your readers to look at the article http://www.shaktitechnology.com/god_helmet.htm
to get the straight story.
Your third session seemed to have very good after-effects, but your brain may be ‘habituating’, as discussed in the software.
Also, you have fallen asleep either during or immediately after each session. You could be setting yourself up for failure this way. There is some evidence to suggest that doing your session so that it ends about 90 minutes before you go to bed can help get you more interesting results.
I have had no tech support emails from anyone since you starting sessions/ blogs, so I know you haven’t been using it. It’s free, so why not take advantage?
